COMING SOON!!

for as long as this photography dream of mine has existed, it's been a mostly facebook, word of mouth, occasional blog post entity. now, because the Good Lord has blessed me with so much, i'm moving on up in the world! We're Getting A Website!! i could not be more excited for this next step in the journey that is my business, building day by day from the ground up. to date, building this business out of nothing but some thoughts in my mind has been the most rewarding, humbling, difficult, you-name-it experience of my life! it's incredible to watch this thing grow and see how many lives i have touched along the way with just this little camera of mine and a creative vision, willing to try new things and see the world in a different way.

words cannot express how grateful i am to those who have helped to build this thing and to those who will be on the journey with me, continuing to build it every day! i'm constantly getting requests for new types of photography i haven't yet tried - surprise proposal, in-hospital newborn, boudoir, etc. i love these types of requests - requests asking me to push my boundaries and step out of my comfort zone a bit just to make and preserve memories! in fact, it's a great compliment to me and my work.

i'm very quick to offer up names of those i have met on this journey who have experience in different types of photography that i've yet to try, and when the response is, "no, i would like to use you for sure," i cannot put into words how flattering that is. such trust... i'm happy to report that i have never disappointed a client on a challenge like this, and i aim to continue that trend. i firmly believe it is my love for photography that helps me to achieve the kinds of images people are looking for. i am able to make people happy time and time again because i love what i do all the way down to my very core.

i love photography. i love design. i love video. i love art. i love creativity and making things in a new way. i love my job. i love that my job isn't a job to me at all!

and i even love photography when it's unrelated to a job in any way shape or form..... special shout out to this handsome pup of mine who turned 4 yesterday. unfortunately, my dreams of having a puppy cake smash were ruined by my dog's inability to be a messy eater.... (wonder where he learned that....) but these photos are still pretty cute!!!

thanks for reading!! :)
